ABOUT
VERA is the regeneration of Seville’s former Tobacco Factory, inactive since 2006. Led by Barcelona-based KKH Property Investors, known for high-quality restorations, the project began with discussions in 2020 with Imperial Tobacco and Altadis and the subsequent acquisition completed in 2023.
With strong public and political support, VERA exemplifies private-public collaboration. Guided by principles of openness, permeability, and connection, the development will remove factory walls to create green, accessible spaces that blend with nearby streets, public gardens, and the Guadalquivir River. A new pedestrian bridge will link the site with the Los Remedios neighbourhood, enhancing connectivity.
The €250 million investment will generate over 1,000 jobs. Initial construction will complete by late 2025, with full completion, including the bridge, expected in 2026. Centrally located and open to all, VERA will offer a high-quality destination for work, leisure, and community life along the river.
